List of upcoming liturgical celebrations led by Archbishop-elect Charles Scicluna published

The Church has released a list of liturgical events involving Archbishop-elect Charles Scicluna for the month of March.

On 6 March, at 6.30 pm, Monsignor Charles Scicluna will lead a penitential pilgrimage beginning at the Zurrieq Parish Church.

13 March will see the Archbishop-elect lead Lent penitential walks at 5 pm in Isla.

On 19 March, the Archbishop-elect will lead a solemn Mass at the Church of St. Mary mother of God in Victoria at 9 am in Rabat. At 5.15 pm on the same day, Monsignor Scicluna participate in a cortege and Mass at the Parish of the Holy Family (Iklin) on the tenth anniversary of its establishment.

20 March will see Monsignor Scicluna  lead a penitential procession from the Oratory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to the Parish Church in Mosta at 6 pm, where he will also celebrate mass.

Monsignor Scicluna will officially be installed as head of the Maltese Church on the morning of 21 March, at the Mdina Cathedral. More details on the event will be released at a later date.

The Archbishop-elect will hold mass at 7pm every evening between 23 and 26 March while also delivering a homily in English, at St Patrick's Church in Sliema.

On Our Lady of Sorrows (27 March), Monsignor Scicluna will hold a mass at the MCAST campus (Paola),10 am. He will also take part in a procession with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows in Valletta at 6 pm.

Celebrations for Holy Week begin on 29 March at 9 am on Palm Sunday, with a liturgical function at St John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta.
