An investigation at Higher Secondary school revealed no evidence of drug misuse following a media report which stated that a student was abusing of drugs at the post secondary school.

Education Minister Evarist Bartolo said that following publication of the report, the school, in collaboration with the police carried out an investigation, however no evidence of drug misuse was found.

Replying to a parliamentary question put forward by Nationalist MP Claudette Buttigieg, Mr Bartolo said that the student reported to be tackling a drug problem was already being assisted prior to publication of the report.
