Bank of Valletta donates books to St Margaret’s College School library

Thursday, 5 March 2015, 19:46 Last update: about 10 years ago

Bank of Valletta helped to replenish the library shelves of St Margaret's College Cospicua. The donation was presented to the Head of School Ms Costa by John Paul Abela, Manager, Media and Community Relations at Bank of Valletta, in the presence of members of the school's academic staff and students.

"A book open windows on other worlds and stretches their imagination. Instilling a love for the book at an early age is probably the best way to ensure that they will continue reading throughout their lives," said Ms. Costa, Head of School. "Thanks to the Bank of Valletta's donation, we have enriched our library, and I believe that this initiative will enhance the development of students."

"Supporting education remains at the core of the bank's Community Programme," explained John Paul Abela from Bank of Valletta.  "We hope that this gesture helps school children to continue expanding their horizons. It also enables us to continue strengthening our ties with the communities in which we operate."
