Production house V Squared Media and Entertainment released the trailer of the up-and-coming local film 'Il-Klikka' on their social media channels.

Il-Klikka' started in 2012 as a TV series revolving around an inseparable group of girls. Along the three seasons, many adventures and mishaps have affected the group and shaped their journey up until the season finale which left audiences wondering about the shooting of Pippa, a central role played by Valentina Rossi. . 'Il-Klikka' seems to have excelled at satisfying the audience's needs, according to the overwhelming feedback given after the series ended.

Following overwhelming public interest, V Squared together with Eden  decided to collaborate on this project. Simon De Cesare, Director of operations at Eden, approached the creators of 'Il-Klikka' with the idea of producing a film, following the successful screening of the season finale.

Mr. De Cesare said that last year's screening was “very successful and attracted masses of people. There is a thirst for a good Maltese film product and when we saw the potential 'Il-Klikka' had and the quality of the product, it made perfect sense that a film ought to be made.”

On 18 March, the film will be premièring exclusively at the Eden Cinemas. The film is a follow up of the widely followed series shown on local television. This  production is embellished with the sound track, Young Again, by award-winning Maltese band Red Electrick.

In stark contrast to the television production, the film adds new colour and dimension to the story known by fans of the series. The effort to create a film for both current followers and people new to 'Il-Klikka' , has evolved into an interesting and thrilling storyline filled with twists and breath taking scenes.
