Transport Malta is increasing the number of roadside spotchecks at peak hours in an effort to clamp down on the illegal use of cars with foreign number plates.
Answering a question put by Opposition MP Marthese Portelli, Transport Minister Joe Mizzi said that Transport Malta was also in talks with the police and other law enforcement angencies to clamp down on abuse.
