A 21-year-old man died today after a fall in the area known as Niogret, in the limits of Zurrieq.

The police said it was informed of the accident at about 4pm.

The young man was with a group of friends when he fell after losing his balance, and hit his head.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment and the police were later informed that he had died.

 

Magistrate Marsanne Farrugia ordered an inquiry.
