25-year-old Katrina Pavia has been crowned Miss World Malta, after the 20th edition of the contest was held yesterday at Pjazza Teatru in Valletta.
30 contestants from Malta and Gozo participated in the event.
In 2007 Ms Pavia was first runner up in Miss World Malta and also first runner up of Miss Bikini of the World held in Turkey.
The 65th edition of Miss World will be held in Melbourne, Australia later this year.
Manuela Buttigieg won the title of First runner- up and Marie-Claire Portelli was titled the second runner-up.
