Alfred Mifsud named deputy governor of Central Bank of Malta

As was widely anticipated, Alfred Mifsud has been appointed Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Malta for a period of five years with effect from 5 May 2015.
Mr Mifsud will focus primarily on monetary policy at the Bank, the bank said in a statement this morning.
