Finance Minister Edward Scicluna, yesterday, Friday, held discussions with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Suma Chakrabarti, in Tbilisi. Among the topics discussed was the situation in Libya.
Minister Scicluna was in the Georgian capital to participate in the EBRD's Board of Governor's 24th annual meeting.
Malta has been a shareholder of the EBRD since the bank was founded in 1991 to support the transition to market economies and democracies after the collapse of communist rule in Eastern Europe.
