Last Saturday, Glow Promotions, under the management of Alan J. Darmanin and Jeff Francalanza, organised the 52nd anniversary of the national Miss Malta pageant.
The event was transmitted live on One.
20 finalists competing for the title which was won by 24-four-year old Miss Balzan Sarah Mercieca, followed by Miss Gzira, Nicola' Grixti, in second place, and Miss St Paul's Bay, Louisa Abela in third.
Sarah Mercieca won a grand amount of prizes amongst which she will be travelling all the way to Thailand to represent Malta in the Miss Grand International pageant. Sarah will also have a year packed full of television appearances and interviews on magazines and local newspapers. She will also be attending charitable events in which she will be accompanied by the Miss Solidarity title winner, Miss Valletta (Nathalie Camilleri).
