Parliamentary Secretary for Planning and Simplification of Administrative Processes Michael Falzon paid a visit to the construction site of Exalco Group’s new development at St. Georges Bay, the Golden Mile Business Centre, that will house state of the art amenities for flexible open plan office premises, and include car parking facilities.

This new development will house an office block and will be the first of various new commercial projects, including hotels, that are planned to be implemented in the St. Georges Bay area.

The Golden Mile Business Centre will be an aesthetically pleasing iconic building which will contribute a significant planning gain to the area.  Exalco Group, the owners, who operate a chain of office blocks have agreed with MEPA to upgrade and widen by 6 metres an alleyway linking St. Georges Bay to the Paceville area.

The site prior to this development was a dilapidated dark area.  It will soon be a beautiful building that will contribute to Malta’s economy and provide a quantum leap in quality.

Mr Alex Montanaro Managing Director of Exalco Group explained that Exalco’s Golden Mile Business Centre, is attracting interest from foreign investors who would like to have their offices here in Malta, at St. Georges Bay, which is expected to continue developing as a prime location.

Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Michael Falzon praised and encouraged this type of development and expressed his satisfaction at having a significant planning gain contributed to the locality.
