Putting colour into Paceville

Monday, 27 July 2015, 13:22 Last update: about 10 years ago

An Eden Leisure Group initiative to help turn Paceville into a family-friendly destination

The Eden Leisure Group is undertaking a community activity to help regenerate Paceville as a family and youth friendly destination. Families and youths are invited to participate, free of charge, in creating a large mural with their own original piece of wall-art or graffiti. The graffiti does not have to be perfect or particularly artistic; the main aim is to create a fun family bonding activity with no strings attached.

Each participating family or group will be provided with paints and paintbrushes to create their own original wall-art, as well as papers and pencils to sketch their ideas that will represent and immortalise their family. There is no charge for participation or for the materials.

In addition, each family or group will be given four bowling tickets as a reward for their efforts.  Water and snacks will also be provided by M Cafe for the duration of this activity at no charge.

The location of this graffiti wall is in front of The Axis, on St George's Road, Paceville. Families and groups are invited to book their slot by sending an email on [email protected] or turn up on Thursday, 30 July at 6pm or later. Painting will continue until 10pm.  Each group will be allocated a section of the wall upon arrival on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Eden Leisure Group wishes to thank the sponsors, Axis, M Café, St Julian's local council and Sigma paints for their support.
