The Danish woman, who was found dead in the limits of Rabat Gozo in July, seems to have been killed in Marsalforn, or else ended up in Rabat against her will, Newsbook reports.

The article reports that following the discovery of the corpse, the police have been investigating footage from security cameras in Marsalforn, Gozo.  The footage shows the 71-year-old woman leaving a supermarket in Triq il-Qbajjar before she walks out of shot.

A number of officials from the Criminal Investigations Unit are going door to door, speaking to a number of people and a van of the Crime Scene Investigation and officials of the forensic team were also seen at the police station in Marsalforn.

So far however, police have not established the motive of the murder.

The woman sustained a head injury, bruising on her chest and broken ribs , however the autopsy proved to be inconclusive, with the police saying that she did not die from the injuries she sustained.
