Swieqi residents continue to complain about the lack of civic respect shown to them by night revellers who use their roads for parking purposes to go and spend the night out in the nearby Paceville.

Earlier this summer, the residents held a peaceful walk to manifest their disdain against the lack of attention that authorities such as the police give to their plight.

It is not uncommon that damage is caused to private cars, that residents are woken up by drunk people shouting in the middle of the night and that people relieve themselves on their doorstep.
