The Air Malta website was hit with heavy traffic as a large number of customers flooded the site to take advantage of the newly launched winter offers.
The national airline is offering a 44 hour promotion with seats starting from €44. Over 44,000 seats will be on offer on the entire airline's network (excluding Algiers and Djerba) for travel between next November and June 2016.
The seats are available only from the airline's website www.airmalta.com, the airline's call centre on +356 21662211 and the airline's sales office at Malta International Airport from Wednesday 19th 00:01am till Thursday 20th August 20:00h.
"Seats are subject to availability. Ticket prices are one-way including taxes and charges. The offer is not valid for travel between 19 December 2015 and 6 January 2016 and between 24 March and 3 April 2016.Terms and conditions may apply," Air Malta said.
The promotion is available on flights to/from Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Catania, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Geneva, Hamburg, London, Lyon, Manchester, Marseille, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Paris - Charles De Gaulle, Paris - Orly, Prague, Rome, Vienna and Zurich.
"The Maltese airline maintains its commitment to offer value for money prices and superior service in both its economy as well as business class cabins," the airline said.
"The airline also offers customers free allowance of one 10kg hand luggage and a one piece 20kgs free baggage allowance even on its lowest 'Simply Fly' fare".
"Business Class passengers are given an allowance of two pieces of hand luggage for a total weight of 15kgs and up to two pieces of hold baggage allowance (maximum 64kgs) for its 'Business Anytime' customers".
