A 34-year-old man from Senglea was this afternoon remanded in custody after he pleaded not guilty to theft.

Christopher Scerri was charged with stealing a number of items from a residence in Kalkara, with attempting another theft from a residence in Senglea and relapsing.

He was also charged with being in possession of stolen goods.
