13-year old Gozitan student wins Bronze Award at International Science Photo Contest

The results of the annual MILSET Science Photo Contest were announced today and the National Student Travel Foundation (NSTF) is pleased to announce that Stefan Scerri, winner of the NSTF Science Photo Contest, has won a Bronze Award in the MILSET Science Photo Contest.

Stefan Scerri, a 13 year old student from the Gozo College Boys' Secondary School Gozo entered the competition with his photo entitled 'Bursting Balloon' and placed first during the NSTF Science Days in Gozo where he won a digital camera sponsored by PhotoCity. His entry was then given a chance to participate in the international MILSET contest.

A total of 1219 photographs were submitted in the international contest from 41 different countries.
