The Attorney General, Dr Peter Grech today administered at his Office the oath of Allegiance to the Constitution and the oath of Office to the eight members of the Electoral Commission appointed by the President of Malta by notification in the Government Gazette of 1 September, 2015. 

The Commissioners are Mario Callus, Noel Cutajar, Paul Sammut, Salvu Sant, Victor Scerri, Joseph Scicluna, Raymond Zammit and Joseph Zammit Maempel. Their appointment is for a period of three years with effect from 30th August, 2015, under the Chairmanship of the Chief Electoral Commissioner, Mr Joseph Church. 

The Electoral Commission's secretary is Mr George Saliba.
