Pro-Life, Pro-Family, Life Network Foundation Malta, is launching a Petition in favour of Life.  For those of us who care about Human Life in Malta, now is the time to  stand up and be counted, now is the time to act in defence of life from conception, the group said in a statement.

The Embryo Protection Act aims to achieve the delicate balance of helping infertile couples who seek help whilst safeguarding the rights of the child born of this procedure.

It serves to protect the human embryo from destruction, manipulation and freezing, and, to ensure that every child has the  right to his/her biological mother and father.Embryo freezing is a grave attack on the humanity of the unborn child because it facilitates the easy selection, disposal and the destruction of innocent human life.  

This is one reason why it is prohibited in our current legislation.We call on our elected representatives and society to reject any attempt to make changes to the Embryo Protection Act which in any way violates the fundamental right of the unborn child to life."We appeal to our elected representatives and society to reject surrogacy, egg and sperm donation which violate the right of the child to know and be raised by the biological parents," the group said.

Furthermore, weurge our politicians to entrench protection of the unborn child from conception in the Maltese Constitution.Life Network Malta appeals to all Maltese and Gozitan citizens who have the best interests of the unborn child from conception to sign and promote this Petition online at  www.citizengo.org or www.lifenetwork.eu
