Juventus player Caceres has driving licence withdrawn after car crash; fails breathalyser test

Juventus defender Martin Caceres has had his driving licence revoked after crashing his Ferrari in Turin last night.

Corriere dello Sport has reported that the Uruguay international is unharmed after crashing into a bus stop around 12:40am, but that he failed a breathalyser test.

The paper writes that the defender has had his licence revoked as a result of exceeding the legal limit for alcohol.

The incident is reported to have happened on Corso Giambone in Turin, where his car veered onto the wrong side of the road before crashing into some parked cars and a bus stop, breaking the shelter.

Caceres has been given the all-clear and is unhurt, but this isn’t his first such incident after he crashed his car into the entrance of the Via Nizza metro station last year.
