Weeks of surveillance have led to 11 kilograms of drugs being seized in Marsa and Zejtun.

A 39-year-old from Zejtun was arrested after raids were carried out on two of his properties in Marsa and Zejtun. In a statement, the police said that a total of eight kilograms of cocaine and three kilograms of heroin were seized.

The police said that drug related paraphernalia was found at both residences, along with a substantial amount of cash.

The man is expected to be charged in court in the next few hours.
