In the October edition of Air Malta’s in-flight magazine, ‘il-Bizzilla,’ Chris Hemsworth, famous for his roles in Thor and The Avengers, was mistaken for Assassin’s Creed Michael Fassbender.

The in-flight magazine featured an image of Chris Hemsworth, with the caption saying that he is Michael Fassbender, star of the Assassin’s Creed movie that is partly being filmed in Malta.

Having picked up on this comical mistake, Hemsworth posted a screenshot of the in-flight ‘celebrity spotting’ page to his instagram account. The instagram post also attracted a total of 1,438 comments from people who found the blunder amusing, most assuring Hemsworth that he looks nothing like Fassbender.

Hemsworth spent a four-day holiday in Malta with his wife Elsa Pateky. News of their visit quickly spread, with photographers and fans alike following the couple’s every move.
