Labour MP Silvio Schembri asked the Prime Minister whether he would see to it that the 'so-called monument' in Luqa was removed as soon as possible because it was imposed by the former government without consultation with the Luqa council and residents; it had no association with Luqa; it was a subject of ridicule; it was not covered by a Mepa permit and it was subject to an enforcement notice in 2006.

In reply, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat merely said information was being gathered.
