A 4-year-old girl was greviously injured today, at about 2.45pmin Triq San Pietru, Hal Kirkop, the police said today.

Preliminary investigations show that the 4-year-old was hit by Mercedes Benz which was being driven by a 42-year-old man residing in Zurrieq.

The girl was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
