Opposition leader Simon Busuttil has instituted libel proceedings against the Labour Party. This after the Labour Party said in a statement Monday that he had been “caught in a serious case of fraud of public funds”. The Labour Party was referring to an investigation looking into the fuel costs of the car he is chauffeured in.

In a statement, the Nationalist Party said this was an outright lie.
