Maltese flag features in another ISIS video depicting 'Armageddon battle' with the West

The Maltese flag has featured in a second ISIS video which purports to show the terror group’s conquest of the Italian capital.

The video shows old Russian-made ISIS tanks rolling onto Rome, which is depicted as a desert wasteland.

The clip then cuts to stock footage of the main monument of Rome, including the Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II and the Vatican.

According to various news websites the tank footage was filmed in Iraq. The film’s dialogue makes claims that the “Dabiq Army” will race into Rome, destroy crucifixes, and enslave Christian women.

The footage also shows a dead fighter being kissed by his comrades, a Jihadi on horseback and groups of men wearing masks.

It then moves on to show the ISIS flag over Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Yemen and Iraq before parading the flags of the countries which ISIS is supposedly at war with, including the Maltese flag, which is last in the list.

Last month Malta was listed among 60 countries in the “coalition of devils” fighting against ISIS. That video, titled ‘No Respite,’ taunted Western countries to “bring it on.”

A few months back Malta had featured in a list of countries forming part of the ‘Coalition against Islamic State’ but the government had later denied that Malta formed part of such a group.
