Prime Minister Joseph Muscat will fly to Serbia this morning where, among his commitments, he will attend the opening game of the national waterpolo team in the European championships being held in Belgrade.
It is the first time that Malta has qualified to take part in this event.
While in Serbia, Dr Muscat will have official talks with Prime Minister Aleksander Vucic.
Dr Muscat will also be visiting Montenegro where he will meet President Filip Vujanović and Prime Minister Milo Đukanović. An agreement of economic and technical cooperation will be signed.
In Montenegro, Dr Muscat will be visiting the site of a windfarm in which Enemalta and Shanghai Electric Power are investing.
Energy Minister Konrad Mizzi is accompanying the PM.
