Updated - Sense of humour: First a shark, then a whale, and now the Loch Ness Monster

Wednesday, 27 January 2016, 10:42 Last update: about 9 years ago

The photo-shopped picture showing a shark’s fin close to the Maltese coast which surfaced on the social media a few days ago has sparked the imagination of some.

While it was clear to the keen eye that the shark “pictured” in Marsamxett Harbour was fake, others failed to read the situation and went into panic mode.

It took them a while to be persuaded that no real shark was pictured in Malta. It is hoped that the picture that has surfaced today – that of a killer whale – will immediately be taken for what it really is: just a way to lighten up the day.

And, as we anticipated, it's the turn of the Loch Ness Monster.

But not only.
