Well-known Maltese musician and composer Renzo Spiteri presented his solo tour work, Quintessence, a unique experience that wraps the audience in an alluring world of sounds created through the use of sampling and live electronic manipulation, a large suspended metal sheet, a fishing line, vocal phrases, and a sculptural array of acoustic percussion instruments.

Quintessence was held at St James Cavalier, Valletta as part of the Spazju Kreattiv programme.

Quintessence is a Valletta 2018 and Open Works Lab collaboration and is part of the Valletta - European Capital of Culture 2018 Programme.

Quintessence premiered at The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester (UK) in partnership with Future Everything Festival 2015.
