Police from the Sliema District and the Department of Criminal Investigation are currently investigating the case of a 27-year-old Finnish man living in Gzira who was attackde by a gang in Gzira at 7am on Wednesday morning.

The man was allgedly walking along Triq ix-Xatt in Gzira when he had an argument with someone and was subsequently attacked by a group of people.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by his friend where it was confirmed that the man was suffering from grevious injuries, most likely caused by a sharp instrument.
