British marathon runner collapses during Malta Marathon, dies on his way to Mater Dei

A 55-year-old Englishman who was taking part in the Malta marathon died after he fell ill 100 metres away from the finish line.
The police said the man, who was in Malta on holiday, felt sick and an ambulance was called but he died on the way to Mater Dei hospital.
