Malta ranked Top 6 Region in the world by RE/MAX International

A delegation  from RE/MAX Malta  consisting of sales associates, managers, franchise owners together with   Kevin Buttigieg,  CEO, Jeff Buttigieg,  COO and  Joseph P. Theuma,  General Manager early this month attended the RE/MAX International Convention in Las Vegas

The RE/MAX International Convention hosts 6000 RE/MAX affiliates from over 60 countries in the vibrant city of Vegas every year. It is a memorable experience for both veteran associates as well as beginners because the agenda of the convention includes the best speakers and presenters from the property industry as well as the entertainment industry. The event is set over 5 days of motivational talks, productivity sessions as well as networking events such as the Global Referral Network.

This year's edition saw Dave Liniger,  CEO, Chairman and Co-founder of RE/MAX International give a motivational opening speech that always captures the attention of all the attendees. He was supported by Jay Leno, stand up comedian and former host of the Tonight Show on NBC. .

Day two saw Mel Robins a motivational speaker and best selling author of "Stop saying you are fine" and TEDX Talk "How to Stop Screwing Yourself Over" together with Patrick Lencioni founder of the Table Group and a best selling author of 10 books mostly about his firm's dedication towards improving teamwork, clarity and employee dedication giving an inspiring presentation about management and teamwork.

Brian Buffini and Stan McChrystal featured in day three. Buffini who is an established power house celebrity trainer and coach in the US real estate industry that built a training  system based on 100% referrals. His presentation was about his personal rags to riches story  based on how he established himself from when he was just an immigrant to one of the worlds authorities in real estate training.. General Stan Mc Chrystal, a 4-star general and a man who revolutionised combat strategies by fusing together intelligence and operations, spoke about tried and tested leadership lessons.

The closing session on day four was conducted by Juliet Funt who is the owner and founder of WHITESPACE, a consultancy firm which leads the charge in unearthing the potential of organisations by unburdening them from unproductive tasks.

Over and above the presentations, the 4 day line up also included multiple workshops and talks featuring topics like marketing, self help, various real estate related skill courses as well as optional and more specific sessions. RE/MAX associates strategically branched off to get the best out of the information offered and bring it back to their offices.

RE/MAX Malta Co-Owners were invited to a two day pre meeting with the TOP Twenty Regions of the world, where they had the opportunity to discuss future strategies.

Kevin Buttigieg, Jeffrey Buttigieg and Joseph P. Theuma also attended the Global Regional Owner meeting where they received a nomination for being one of the top 6 regions in the world alongside countries like Portugal, Spain and Argentina.  

Mark Micallef, a RE/MAX sales associate, who was attending his 7th edition of the R4 convention was awarded The RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award in addition to the Platinum Award. His colleague and franchise owner and also a sales associate, Philip Incorvaja, was awarded the Platinum Award. Lee Tabone picked up the 100% Club Award. He was accompanied by his colleague Matthew Axisa from the RE/MAX Alliance Office in San Gwann.
