CSB Group to organise Conflict Management Training

CSB Group is organising a CPE-Accredited training course entitled 'Managing Conflict within Organisations' on how to handle conflicts constructively for better working relationships at the workplace. This course is split over two sessions that will be held on Wednesday 27th April and Friday 29th April between 8:30 and 11:30am at the AIM Professional Training Academy, Swatar.

The training will be delivered by Joe Gerada, freelance Management Consultant and CIPD trainer for organisations in Malta and abroad. He held CEO positions in a number of State organizations including the ETC, APPOGG and Sedqa as well as senior positions in the private sector.

This course is aimed at enabling the attendees learn how to handle conflict at the place of work in a professional manner, using the appropriate language and behaviour in order to maintain healthy working relationships. It is widely known that different people react to conflict in different ways and at times, individuals may feel that they failed to handle conflict in the right manner by saying or doing the right thing. The trick is to learn how to manage conflict in a way that the situation is transformed into an opportunity to build stronger working relationships.

The training will look into how to identify conflict, defuse it and deal effectively with individuals in such situations. The attendees will have the opportunity to reflect and evaluate their own behaviour and reactions, when faced with certain situations. They will also learn about various techniques that can be used to manage conflict assertively and intelligently.

The course is aimed for all those who are interested in learning more about the subject of conflict management at the workplace and want to learn the skill of building and maintaining a good rapport with others at the workplace.

The cost for this course is €175, inclusive of VAT, course material, coffee breaks and parking. A certificate of attendance will also be given upon completion.

The event will be accredited with structured CPE hours qualifying for the attainment of Professional Development Competencies in terms of the Accountancy Board's CPE Scheme and Accreditation Rules.
