VacancyCentre appoints General Manager

Malta-based recruitment specialist firm VacancyCentre, has appointed John Dimech as its new General Manager.

John joined CSB Group's recruitment agency VacancyCentre, in January 2016 after having spent over 30 years in the hospitality/tourism industry and more recently five years in recruitment. John has an excellent track record in management and always strived to exceed targets. After gaining so much experience in the tour operating and hospitality industry he joined one of the leading English language schools in Malta and together with other stakeholders played an important role in the setting up of a national regulating body for the sector when he was the president of the Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations Malta and a board member of the Malta Tourism Authority.

John is responsible mainly for the general management in respect of the recruitment business and managing a team of recruiters and support staff, as well as assisting candidates in their next career move and delivering the best talent to clients.

Commenting, Mr Dimech said that ''in recruitment, as in most other businesses, is all about relationships. The success of a recruiter depends very much on the strength of the relationships with candidates and clients. The current vision for VacancyCentre is to further strengthen our current relationships while putting an emphasis on our areas of specialisation, namely Financial Services, Legal & Compliance, iGaming and IT.''
