A Somali man has caused damage at the Floriana health centre this evening, the police told The Malta Independent.
Damage was caused to computers as well as parts of the reception area at 7.20pm. It is not known what led the Somali man to behave this way.
In the fracas, the aggressor, aged 21, was injured and taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
A security guard was also hurt with glass shards, the police said, and he needed treatment.
A magisterial inquiry is being led by Magistrate Marsanne Farrugia.
The health centre, which had been temporarily closed, was reopened again Saturday morning.
