Valletta McDonalds secured fourth place in the Waterpolo Winter League with an impressive performance against Sirens who recovered too late in the game to make any impact on the final result. In fact, Valletta won the first two sessions 5-1 and 2-1 to take a five goal lead at the midway point with Charlie Zammit, Jon Spiteri Staines, Kurt Mock and Michael Rizzo getting on the scoresheet and with Sirens only replying through Zach Mizzi and Jacob Sciberras.

The St paul’s Bay club recovered somewhat in the third session winning this 3-1 but by then the game had been won and lost.
