A Serbian man was critically injured in a traffic accident on the Regional Road, Kappara, early this morning, the police said.
The 35-year-old, who lives in Pieta, was driving a Piaggio Runner motorcycle towards Msida when he skidded at about 2.30am. He was rushed to hospital and was later certified as being in a critical condition.
A magisterial inquiry is under way. The road towards Msida was temporarily closed because of the accident, causing a big traffic jam.
