Nationalist MP Kristy Debono said this afternoon that she was threatened by one of the developers of the proposed Elderly Home development at Wied Ghomor, which was turned down by the planning board this afternoon.
Mrs Debono spoke out against the development during the meeting, along with fellow PN MP Marthese Portelli.
The PN MP said in a tweet that the developer confronted her with the words: “Shame on you. You wait and see.”
She told The Malta Independent that the threat was made after the meeting, as she was walking out of the Planning Authority building.
“I will stand tall to threats,” she tweeted.
