Sunday, 8 May 2016, 12:08 Last update: about 10 years ago

The car of Nationalist MP Kristy Debono was attacked by vandals last night.

In a post on Facebook, the PN MP said that her car and that of her husband Jean Pierre Debono were the target of a deliberate attack.

Some of the broken glass ended up on the car seat she uses to transport her daughter.

Nothing could be gained from such attacks she said, adding that they pushed her to keep working and fighting in what she believed in.

The Nationalist Party, the Labour Party and the Speaker of the House of Reprsentatives, in separate statements, condemned the incident.

Last Thursday, Kristy Debono said she received threats after the Planning Authority hearing on development at Wied Ghomor.
