Thomas Smith Group, in line with its CSR programme to promote healthy living habits, is proud to support another sporting event - The Grid, the first obstacle course race to be held on the Maltese islands. The event will be held on Saturday 28th May, and will involve a 15km course including obstacles such as hurdles, mud pits and monkey bars amongst others.
The event is set to attract the participation of 500 entries, with over 300 registrations confirmed. The Grid has in fact already enticed 160 international participants from UK, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, France, as well as USA, Brazil and Venezuela. Some are taking on the challenge on a personal level whereas others are participating as a team building activity. The Grid organisers stress that this is a challenge for individuals and teams with the sole purpose of accomplishing a goal and having fun whether in team building or personal satisfaction.
