The Nationalist Party said today that the Valletta monti open market set-up as planned by the Labour government is an example of the government’s mediocrity.
Making reference to a series of stories in The Malta Independent, in which photos were shown of designs proposed by the government, the PN said that Minister Chris Cardona was caught in a contradiction.
Minister Cardona said that the ‘bus’monti stall was one of many that had been shown to the monti hawkers, only for the hawkers’ lawyer to state that hawkers were only shown that particular one.
The PN insisted with the government to withdraw these mediocre designs.
