Nico the Parrot has seven more games to deal with before his endeavour ends.

After not doing very well in the first phase but picking up a good rhythm in the last 16 stages, in which he guessed six of the eight games played, the Africa Grey Parrot of Pet Market in Naxxar is now tasked with the quarter-final games.

The two he missed were the games involving Italy and England and, frankly, Spain did start as favourites against the azzurri while few believed Iceland would have eliminated England.

He starts today with Poland vs Portugal and, let’s see where he’s heading.
