Rockna’s 6th anniversary

Monday, 4 July 2016, 14:10 Last update: about 9 years ago

Rockna, Michael Bugeja's weekly radio show on Radio 101 will be celebrating its sixth anniversary with a live concert that will be held on Friday, 8 July at Dar Ċentrali in Pieta. The concert will feature performances from newcomers Decline The Fall, whose recent live debut performance received rave reviews, Falcon's Flying Circus, one of Malta's top Blues rock acts and Airport Impressions, who are without a doubt one of the island's leading rock bands. All three bands are known to give riveting live performances, so having them on the same bill can only mean one thing - this is going to be one amazing night of powerful rock music - live and direct.

Rockna, which is hosted by Michael Bugeja and goes out on air every Friday on Radio 101, was first broadcast by the station on 9 July 2010 and has now clocked up over 300 editions, during which time it has featured more than 300 guests and covered most of the island's musical spectrum, with a good number of shows also featuring exclusive unplugged sessions from established and upcoming acts.

Tickets for the sixth anniversary concert are available against a donation of €5 (upstairs) and €8 (downstairs). Doors open at 7.30pm.

This event is supported by Net Media, PA Sound, AF Signs, Farsons and PrintShop Express.
