162 Bank of Valletta employees recently celebrated over 4,000 years of employment with the bank during a reception organized by the bank's Human Resources Department at the Mellieha Holiday Centre.

The largest number of these employees, 97, celebrated their 20 year anniversary at the bank while other colleagues celebrated 25, 30 and 35 years of service with three employees celebrating 40 years in employment with Bank of Valletta.

The staff members present were greeted by BOV CEO Mario Mallia and members of the bank's Management Board who thanked them for their loyalty towards the organization while highlighting some of the important milestones achieved by the bank during their years of service, emphasising that their contribution was instrumental to make Bank of Valletta what it is today.

"We consider our 1600+ work-force as part of our extended family," said Mr Mallia. "The fact that a substantial percentage of these colleagues have years of service with the bank under their belt is testament to a dynamic institution that inspires its employees, whilst helping them to achieve a healthy work-life balance."
