A 45-year-old man from Zabbar has suffered serious injuries after he tried to put out a vehicle fire in a garage.

The incident occurred at around 5.15pm on Triq Santa Duminka, Zabbar

Upon arrival, the police saw the flames.

The 45-year-old man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and members of the Civil Protection Department were called. The fire was extinguished.

Investigations are ongoing.
