The Health Department and the Union Haddiema Maghqudin have reached an agreement on podiatry services provided in health centres, bringing to an end the industrial action that had been going on for several weeks.

The government agreed to the recruitment of allied assistants to give a helping hand to the podiatrists.

The two sides also agreed on the way forward towards the implementation of a reform involving the running of podiatry clinics.
