Christian Maldini, the son of Milan and Italy legend Paolo Maldini, will be playing for Hamrun Spartans this season, AC Reggiana announced on their website.

In an announcement on the last day of the transfer market, AC Reggiana said they loaned out until the end of the season Christian Maldini, aged 20, to Malta's Hamrun Spartans Fc.

The full-back will have the opportunity to have consistent playing time and show his qualities, the club said. The club wishes to Christian best of luck and looks forward to welcoming back at the end of this football season.

Reggiana acquired Christian Maldini from Milan last season.
