A Spaniard is in hospital suffering from grievous injuries after he was punched by another foreigner in St Augustine Street, St Julian’s, early this morning, the police said.

The 34-year-old had an argument with another person who punched him and ran off, the police said, without giving details of where the punch landed.

The Spaniard was taken to hospital for treatment.
