This is the embarrassing moment that Scotland manager Gordon Strachan wonders “where’s Rodney” while waiting to be interviewed on PBS after Sunday’s game against Malta.

The lack of communication between the journalist interviewing him and the studio was picked by The Lol Post.

Peter Cossai could be heard trying to establish a contact with the studio, holding on to Strachan’s arm, calling Rodney (Vassallo) by his name three times to let him know about the interview.

An impatient and visibly irritated Strachan asked “where is Rodney”, but it is apparent that Rodney Vassallo was not hearing Peter Cossai and moved on to another item.

Malta lost 1-5 to Scotland in the opening match of the 2018 World Cup qualifying round.
