The associate of Henley Business School in Malta is Allied Consultants Ltd. In addition the Henley Business School brand in Malta is alive amongst an active community of alumni encompassed in the Henley Alumni Association Malta Network (HAAM). Both entities collaborate together over various events and initiatives across the year that are of both social and academic nature with the ultimate goal of enhancing networking benefits amongst its top management community.
Celebrating its 70th Anniversary this year, the Business School and its worldwide alumni network are as active as ever. To commemorate this occasion, HAAM with the assistance of the Maltese Associate, are organising the very first Henley Conference to be held in Malta. This will be held on the 21st October 2016 at Hotel Le Meridien in St. Julians; specifically in the Amphitheatre Hall.
The conference entitled “The Changing Face of Management - How are the Manager's roles and responsibilities changing?" will explore industries that are nowadays in the Maltese limelight: Tourism, iGaming, Financial Services, and Property. Each industry will have a panel discussion with key distinct speakers most of whom are Henley Alumni, as well as interactions with the floor, a workshop, and finally a plenary. The Conference will span the entire working day up to 5pm, and includes a business lunch as well as coffee breaks.
The special guest of the event will be Henley Business School Deputy Dean, Prof. Ginny Gibson who will herself give a talk and participate with her esteemed input in the various sections of the event.
This conference will be a great opportunity to network with like-minded thought leaders and industry experts. The cost of the conference is being subsidised by HAAM, such that for €35delegates get the full day conference, including lunch and coffee breaks, and (for the alumni and students) a full year’s membership to the HAAM (which entitles them to free attendance to the academic top-up talks organised across the year at the Henley Associate).
